Air fryer shrimp is almost too easy: a quick toss with garlic and spices, then a few minutes in the basket for tender, juicy shrimp with lightly charred edges. It's a fast protein for busy nights and works in tacos, pasta, rice bowls, or straight off the plate.

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the shrimp dry, then toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  2. 2

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C).

  3. 3

Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and air fry for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until pink and opaque.

  4. 4

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and finish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes & Tips

Don't overcook — shrimp are done the moment they curl into a 'C' and turn opaque. Frozen shrimp work too; just thaw and pat very dry first.
