Air fryer meatballs come out browned and caramelized on the outside while staying juicy in the middle — and you skip the splattering pan and the heavy oven. They're endlessly useful: pile them on spaghetti, stuff them into a sub, or serve them with toothpicks and marinara for a party. One bowl, no searing, done in 15 minutes.

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, gently combine the beef, panko, parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, oregano, pepper, and red pepper flakes — don't overmix or the meatballs turn tough.

  2. 2

Roll the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs (about 20).

  3. 3

Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Arrange the meatballs in a single layer with space between them.

  4. 4

Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until browned and cooked to 160°F (71°C) inside.

  5. 5

Serve with marinara over pasta, in a sub roll, or on their own with toothpicks.

Notes & Tips

A light touch when mixing and shaping keeps them tender. Freeze cooked meatballs in a bag for up to 3 months and reheat 4–5 minutes in the air fryer straight from frozen.
