These air fryer donuts are the fastest path from craving to warm, cinnamon-sugar happiness: pop open a can of biscuit dough, air fry for minutes, then roll in melted butter and cinnamon sugar. They taste like fairground donuts without a drop of frying oil.

Instructions

  1. 1

Separate the biscuits and cut a hole in the center of each with a small round cutter or bottle cap.

  2. 2

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (177°C) and lightly spray the basket with oil.

  3. 3

Place the donuts in a single layer with space between them and air fry for 5–6 minutes until golden and puffed (donut holes need about 3–4 minutes).

  4. 4

Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.

  5. 5

Brush each warm donut all over with melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated. Serve warm.

Notes & Tips

Don't skip the butter — it's what makes the sugar stick and gives that fried-donut richness. For a glazed version, whisk 1 cup powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk and dip instead.
