Air frying turns broccoli into something you'll actually crave: crisp, charred florets with deep roasted flavor, in a fraction of the time the oven takes. A little garlic, a shower of parmesan, and a squeeze of lemon make this the side dish that disappears first.

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the broccoli into even bite-sized florets and pat dry.

  2. 2

Toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 3

Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Add the broccoli in a single layer.

  4. 4

Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until the edges are charred and crisp.

  5. 5

Toss with parmesan and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Serve hot.

Notes & Tips

Slightly damp broccoli steams rather than crisps, so dry it well. For extra-crispy edges, cut larger florets in half so more surface touches the basket.
